I paint landscapes in gouache as well as in oils. The gouache is easy for quick outdoor sketches. Most landscapes are the typically Dutch polder views just north of Amsterdam, painted en plein air on small wooden panels. But I also take my little pochade box on holidays and working trips and the plein air painting festival at Noordwijk every year.
